A mixture of fresh, canned or thermally processed components is considered to be a salad. For cooking, you can use any vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, nuts, beans, meat and poultry, fish and seafood. The condition here is the same - all the ingredients should harmoniously match each other to taste.

In the modern cooking began to meet the most incredible options for salads. On what only the cook do not go to surprise the guest. Although I must note that this surprise is far from always pleasant. More and more often you can find dishes in which the ingredients are beautifully scattered in artistic pieces on the plate, and each taste is good, but the attempt to mix leads to the fact that it is impossible to continue eating.

They can always be transformed with the help of an original dressing, a new fragrant spice or grass. New salad with avocados, fennel, arugula and salad dresses in vogue are quite likely to linger.

There is another well-known salad. How many times I did not cook "Vinaigrette", he does not bother me. This simple combination of beets, peas, potatoes, carrots and pickles, seasoned with fresh herbs, is simply incredible! And how much good is it!

Personally, I rarely cook so-called "nourishing" salads, those that are caloric equivalent to the main dish. "Olivier", "Herring under the fur coat", "Mimosa" and others do not attract me much, but I am firmly convinced that they also deserve the right to live, especially if you slightly adjust the ingredients and make refueling easier.

Interesting fact: Foreigners call our variation of salad "Olivier" "Russian salad". And they say that it is very tasty.
