Pasta and pizza

Popularity in the world of Italian cuisine is by no means accidental. A great variety of taste variations, simplicity and relative ease of execution, interesting solutions and textures of dishes - all this is undoubtedly typical of Italian cuisine.

Italian pasta

Pasta is a category of dishes that gives the greatest scope for culinary creativity. With what only Italians do not cook it: with meat and poultry, mushrooms (especially incredibly delicious with truffles!), Fish, seafood, vegetables and just cheese ... And the result is always beyond praise, as the Italians say "belissimo"!

Remember at least spaghetti Bolognese? The cook who invented this delicious recipe is truly incredible! Pasta with meat, drowning in thick sauce, from one thought of which wakes up at once!

A pasta a la carbonara? I'll never forget how I first tried it in the eternal city of Rome! After returning back for a long time, this dish did not leave our weekly menu.

Having visited Italy and tried various dishes from pizza with all kinds of fillings, up to the present gentle cream risotto, I still prefer pasta. Especially remember the taste of spaghetti with fresh mussels in tomato garlic sauce, which I tried in a small town of Manarole, which is located in the Cinque Terre Reserve. Then everything turned out really perfectly: delicious food, homemade young white wine and the sound of sea waves beating against the rocks below.

Sauces to pasta

I very often cook pasta. For me personally, the most difficult thing is to decide what kind of sauce I will make. I adore the bright tomato, with ripe, filled with the heat of the summer sun, tomatoes (and yes, even in winter you can not deny yourself the pleasure, because to buy Italian tomatoes in your own juice is not a problem), garlic, Italian herbs, on fragrant olive oil. This sauce can be used alone, but you can take pieces of smoked ham, shrimp or even vegetables! No less attractive to me is white creamy sauce, best suited for mushrooms or chicken. But you know, I generally like any pasta! And I can never, never give up simple spaghetti with black pepper and real Parmesan!

And what is your favorite pasta?
